Selling In Our Weekly Auctions
We accept entries at each of our auction centres. The procedure for entering an item for sale is outlined below.

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 8.30am – 5pm

Friday, 8.30am – 5pm
Saturday, 8.30am – 1pm
Monday and Tuesday 8.30am – 5pm

Weekly Auction Entries
Entries for our weekly sales can include: Antique & Modern Furniture, Clocks, Ceramics & Glassware, Collectables, Books, Pictures & Prints, Jewellery & Watches, Garage Tools & Equipment, Bicycles, Household Electrical Items, Office Furniture & Equipment, Horticultural & Commercial Equipment, Timber & Building Materials, Retail Products & Stock, Vehicles, Garden Furniture & Effects.
Entering Items for Sale
Saleroom staff can assist with valuation advice, unloading, completion of the entry forms and any other questions.
It is important to ensure items entered for sale are clearly labelled with your client reference number. Failure to this will lead to problems in obtaining payment for your goods following the sale.
We do reserve the right to refuse lots which are un-saleable or unsuitable for auction.
You should remember that buyers need to satisfy themselves as to the quality of the goods and therefore you should present lots in such a way as to enable this to be done as easily as possible.
In order to comply with current regulations and to protect our buying customers from some of the more likely sources of danger there are certain classes of goods we do not accept for sale, detailed notices are displayed in the sale rooms.
If you are unable to deliver goods yourself please make contact with the Bedford office on 01234 266366 or email@example.com or Leamington Spa office on 01926 889 100 firstname.lastname@example.org as we have our own fleet of vehicles and staff able to undertake collections. This may be just a single item or a complete house or commercial clearance.
(W&H Peacock only) Cash can be collected from our reception office unless you specifically request for a cheque to be sent on the entry form you complete when entering goods. Please remember to bring photo ID when collecting cash. Vendors may also request payment directly into their bank accounts, please contact us for more information.
You will be required to provide basic information to obtain a client registration card i.e your name, address, telephone number and email along with one proof of identification.
Required Identification: pictured driving licence or utility bill – dated within last 3 months (please note a passport is not a proof of address).
In return you will receive a permanent reference card number this can be used at any W&H Peacock Auction Centre at Bedford, St Neots or Locke & England in Leamington Spa and at auctions we conduct at off site premises. This card must be used whenever you buy or sell.
