A George III mahogany, marquetry and tulipwood banded serpentine knife box, the sloping lid lifting to reveal a vacant interior on ogee bracket feet, h. 39 cm, w. 23 cm, d. 31 cm

A limited edition Parker fountain pen made form the brass recovered from the liner RMS Queen Elizabeth which sank in Hong Kong harbour, 1972, following a fire. The pen itself with a 14ct gold nib and complete with accompanying presentation box and certificate No. 1896/5000. Together with a facsimile 1938 Cunard White Star invitation to the launch of said ship at Clydebank

A Russian silver and parcel gilt tankard by Ovchinnikov. The body with two niello-work oval panels depicting scenes of the Kremlin and St. Basil's cathedral, surrounded by scrolling decoration and separated by a series of bands with gothic Cyrillic script beneath the lid. The lid itself featuring a bifurcated thumb piece and further scrolling and medallion decoration. Marked to base for 84 zolotnik silver. Moscow 1888. Makers mark for Pavel Akimov Ovchinnikov. Assay master probably Viktor Vasilyevich Savinsky. Approx weight 660g, h. 14.5 cm.
