Philippe Mora (Australian-French, b. 1949), ‘Balloonists shouldn’t smoke’, signed and dated ’70, acrylic on board, 120 x 120 cm *Mora was an artist and film-maker. From 1967, he lived on King’s Road London with Martin Sharp and Eric Clapton. He exhibited in Clytie Jessop’s gallery and Camden Arts Centre amongst others. Mora was part of the radical Oz circle, contributing cartoons to the notorious underground magazine. Est £1000 – £1500
