We invite entries of vintage and classic wines and spirits as well as more everyday drinks and we are happy to give free sales value advice. We can often do this from an emailed photograph or you can bring down to us.

The November Sale will be held in the Gallery at our New Premises in Wallis Way.
We are pleased to have consigned to this sale the following from a number of private collections, house clearances, deceased estates and others.
As has become the norm, we start with a good selection of excellent whisky and spirits. We found another bottle of The Macallan 1972 18 year old and a Talisker 1964, some Rare Malts Brora 1982, Bladnock 1977 & Hillside 1970, 2 bottles of a private bottling of Oban 1989, a Craggenmore 1984, a Linlithgow 1975, a Singleton 1975, Balvenie Founders Reserve, various discontinued Glenmorangie, older Highland Park, Glenlivets, Lagavulin, Laphroaig, Ardbeg Almost there, Dimple ceramic decanters, old bottlings of King George IV, Consulate, Glen Grants and Teachers. There is a collection of 16 Premiers 15yr old bottles each depicting a conservative Prime Minister from Sir Robert Walpole to John Major plus a collection of Bell’s Celebration Decanters. Mixed with a number of old bottlings of Cointreau, Benedictine, Calvert Gin, Vat 69, Old Monk Rum and more. From France, there is Martell, Maxine Trijol & Janneau XO Cognacs, old Armagnacs and Aperitifs and some Aquavits from further north.
The Ports include a number of Vintages from Warre’s 1980 & 1998, Offley 1960, Dow’s 2001, Noval & Royal 1982 and further Niepoort LBV and others. Followed by a range of older and more modern Liqueurs, Aperitifs, Sherry, Vermouth and some rare celebration ales and stout. As etiquette dictates, this is followed by a mixed lot of Cigars and Cigarillos.
For those with Celebrations to come, we have a number of fine bottles of vintage and non-vintage Champagnes by Krug, Louis Roederer Cristal, Bollinger, Pol Roget, Dom Perignon, Armand de Brignac Ace of Spades and others including an old bottle of Victor Clicquot.
There is lots of choice in the wine selection covering classic French and Italian plus the rest of the world with plenty of Reds, Whites, Rose and for the Drivers some low & non alcoholic wines. From top Grand Vin de Chateau Latour, Chateau Cheval Blanc, Leoville Barton, Beychevelle, Lynch Bages, Grand Puy Lacoste, Rauzan Segla, Haut Bailly and others, Barolos, Amerone, Chateau Musar and many more to those that you will recognise from the supermarket.

A Rare private bottling of Oban 24 year old Single Barrel Malt Scotch Whisky, Distilled 23rd March 1989, bottled July 2013, Bottle No 213 of 258 with wooden box 47.8% 70cl. The Vendor has included a letter explaining the story behind this bottle. In short, Oban have only done 2 private bottlings, this one and one Presented to Princess Anne by the RLNI to commemorate the launching of the Oban Lifeboat. Diageo now own the distillery which is regarded as 1 of the 6 Classic Malts and it is thought that this will not be repeated
