POSTAGE AND SHIPPING OPTIONS

Postage is available on small to medium sized items from our Bedford and St Neots weekly sales subject to the below terms. For larger items or all other sales, please see the alternative options below, or refer back to your post-sale email correspondence regarding collections.

Please read carefully the following important postage information:

• Your auction invoice must be paid via bank transfer within the standard auction terms.
• Postage quotation requests should be made no later than Friday 5pm following St Neots auctions and Monday 5pm following Bedford auctions.
• On receipt of your quotation please send confirmation of acceptance by reply and await invoice for payment.
• Postage is to UK Zone 1 only, classified by the carrier as England, Wales and Scottish Lowlands.
• Your parcel will be sent to the UK Zone 1 address shown on your auction invoice with which you registered to bid unless requested otherwise by the account holder to another UK Zone 1 address. 
• Unless otherwise stated, parcels are dispatched using DPD who will send you a tracking number once the label has been generated.
• Parcels are dispatched every Tuesday and Wednesday unless closed for the holidays.
• Parcels are sent uninsured at the buyer’s risk. If insurance is required you must organise this directly with a third party.
• We do not accept responsibility for lost or damaged parcels. Damaged parcels should be refused by recipient and will need to be followed up direct with the carrier.
• Postage size, weight and content restrictions may apply. We reserve the right to refuse quotation for delivery of any lot at our discretion.
• Payment of postage invoice implies acceptance of the above terms and conditions of postage.

If you are looking to use a third party courier to collect your goods, you must ensure that:

• Your auction invoice has been paid within the standard auction payment terms and prior to the courier's arrival.
• Your courier is booked in good time and able to adhere to the strict collection times as provided in all correspondence regarding your purchase. Failure to adhere to this may result in additional storage charges, or re-offering of the item at the auctioneers discretion as per our standard auction terms and conditions.
• You advise us of your chosen courier and they are provided with all documentation required to collect the goods (copy invoice, confirmed collection authority).
• Your courier is aware that they are responsible for collecting the items from the relevant sale-room and that items will not be packaged unless you have previously taken advantage of our "packing only" service. (Be advised it is important that you advise your courier beforehand as many household couriers will refuse to collect items not pre-packaged and waiting for them at the door).
• We accept no responsibility for your courier's failure or refusal to comply with any of the above.
• All lots are at the purchaser’s risk from the fall of the hammer. We accept no responsibility for items lost or damaged by your courier.

• Vehicles and bikes
• Fuel powered items
• Unboxed TVs, monitors etc.
• Unboxed printers
• Lithium batteries
• Any items above 30kg

Due to the large variety of items we have in our auctions, we would advise to always contact us prior to a sale, to clarify if a lot is eligible for pack and post.
